The Browse & Edit Buttons
In the following, the functions of the individual Browse & Edit buttons are described.
'Edit this page':
By clicking the button "
Edit this page", the
Page editing of the currently opened file will open.
If a
working copy of the file has been stored, this is indicated by the symbol
.
The button will only appear if the currently logged-in user has the
authorisation to edit the respective file!
'Link this page in the navigation':
By clicking the button "
Link this page in the Navigation" the
Editing function for navigation
will open. When inserting a new navigation item the previously opened page with title and link is pre-entered in the respective fields.
Which navigatio is addressed by this button, is determined by the definition of the maintenance button (WSL Tag).
The button will only appear on pages that have not yet been linked to the navigation. Moreover, the currently logged-in user must have the Authorisation to edit the corresponding navigation!
'Manage contents':
By clicking the button "
Manage contents" the file explorer will open. The view starts with the directory of the currently viewed page.
The button will only appear if the currently logged-in user has the
Viewing authorisation for the corresponding directory!
'Edit the navigation':
By clicking the button "
Edit the navigation" the
Navigation editing will open.
Which navigation is addressed by this button is determined by the definition of the maintenance button (
WSL Tag or
Framework function).
The button will only appear if the currently logged-in user has the
Authorisation for editing the corresponding navigation!
'Determine/edit navigation-dependent background images':
By clicking the button
, navigation editing will open in a special maintenance mask, permitting to allocate a background image to a navigation item that appears when calling the page (e.g. area-dependent contents on top).
The button will only appear if the currently logged-in user has the
Authorisation to edit the corresponding navigation!
'Allocate navigation-dependent contents':
By clicking the button
, the navigation editing will open in a special maintenance mask, permitting to allocate a content to the navigation item that appears when calling the page (e.g. area-dependent content on the right).
The button will only appear if the currently logged-in user has the
Authorisation to edit the corresponding navigation!
'Delete file/entry':
By clicking the button
, you delete the corresponding file after confirming a query.
Which file is addressed via this button is determined by definition of the maintenance button (
WSL Tag).
The button will only appear if the currently logged-in user has the
Authorisation to delete the corresponding file!

Depending on individual layout or individual project implementation, respectively, further buttons may be available that are not part of the standard settings, or some of the listed buttons may be missing.
