Edit Text Contents

In order to edit texts in Weblication^® CMS, a comfortable text editing function is available for you. Similar to common Office programs you can include and edit the text contents of your website.

Formatting functions are shown by clicking on a text box in the upper area of the file draft. Different options for text formatting are at your disposal depending on settings and authorisation.

WYSIWYG functions for editing text

	A previously marked text area can be depicted in bold by clicking this button.
	A previously marked text area can be depicted in italics by clicking this button.
	A previously marked text area can be depicted underlined by clicking this button.
	A previously marked text area can be depicted as enumerated list (sorted list). by clicking this button.
	A previously marked text area can be depicted as bullet point list (unsorted list) by clicking this button.
	A previously marked text area can be depicted with left text alignment by clicking this button.
	A previously marked text area can be depicted with centered text alignment by clicking this button.
	A previously marked text area can be depicted with right text alignment by clicking this button.
	A previously marked text area can be depicted in text alignment justification by clicking this button.
Selection of formatting (normal text ...)	A previously marked text area can be depicted in selected formatting by using the choice box.
	A previously marked table can be edited by clicking this button. If the cursor is placed on a spot without atable, a new table can be inserted there. Please note: This WYSIWYG function is deactivated by default to enhance the quality of your website in the long run. For tables, please use the Weblic® / structural element "Table".
	A previously marked link can be edited by clicking this button. If the cursor is placed on a spot without a link, a new link can be inserted there.
	A previously marked link can be deleted by clicking this button (text remains unaffected, links is deleted).
	A previously marked picture can be edited by clicking this button. If the cursor is placed on a spot without a picture, a new picture can be inserted there. Please note: This WYSIWYG function is deactivated by default enhance the quality of your websites in the long run. For pictures, please use the Weblic® / structural element "Picture".
Selection of filter (text filter ...)	A previously marked text area can be filtered by selection in the selection box. In this text area that following action can be taken: "Delete typeface formatting" deletes all tags for typeface formatting in the corresponding area; "Delete text passages" deletes all P tags in the corrresponding area; "Delete tables" deletes all tables in the corresponding area; "Delete pictures" deletes all pictures in the corresponding area; "Delete links" deletes all links in the corresponding area "Delete all except text" deletes all tags in the corresponding area, the text remains as is.
Selection of special characters	At a previously marked spot in the text a special character can be inserted by selection in the selection box.
	A text copied from a word processor (e.g. Word) can be pasted from the clipboard without formatting by clicking this button. The text is inserted at the place previously marked with the cursor.
	By clicking this button the view in the text window can be switched from WYSIWYG to source text view and vice versa.
	By clicking this button, the last modification in the opened text field is undone.
