In 'User management', an administrator has the option of creating new maintenance users and public users and editing existing user data.
General information on user types and the assignment of rights can be found on the Weblication® user types / authorizations page.
Click on 'User administration' to open the user administration in a new tab on the right-hand side.
In this field, a filter can be placed over the user list by entering at least two letters, which reacts shortly after the letters are typed in. In this way, certain users can be found more quickly once a certain number of users have been entered.
This selection box allows you to select a filter by user type. Depending on the selection, only the following user types are displayed in the user list:

Clicking on the edit icon for a user opens the edit screen(maintenance user or public user) in a new window. This allows you to maintain the user data of the user called up.
You can remove a user from the system by clicking on the recycle bin icon for a user. After confirming the security query as to whether the user should really be deleted, the user is irrevocably removed from the system.
The recycle bin icon does not appear for the user who is currently logged in. This ensures that the current user does not remove themselves from the system.
By clicking on the green tick for a user, this user can be deactivated. This means that a user does not have to be deleted if access is to be temporarily denied. Deactivated users can be reactivated by clicking on the red cross.
A new maintenance user or administrator can be created by clicking on this button. A new window opens in which the user data can be edited.
If the user quota is exhausted (depending on the license), a message appears stating that no more users can be created.
A new public user can be created by clicking on this button. A new window opens in which the user data can be edited.
If the user quota is exhausted (depending on the license), a message appears informing you that no more users can be created.
The templates in the following directory are used to create new users:
/weblication/grid5/clients/default/templates
For public users the file public.wUser.xml and for maintenance users the file default.wUser.xml is used as the basis and can be individually adapted in content if required (e.g. setting a different group, etc.).
