In the system settings for the workflow, the administrator user type can be given the global right to intervene in the workflow process. This gives administrators the right to release files from the workflow, even though the administrator is not defined as the releaser in the workflow definition.
Further information can be found under'Modules / Functions - Workflow'.
The following functions are available when creating a workflow:
If this parameter is activated, a maintenance user of the type administrator may intervene in the workflow process without having to be the approver via a workflow definition.
If this parameter is activated, a maintenance user of type Administrator may always save files directly. This means that no workflow process is triggered when saving, even if the file is defined for the workflow.
If this parameter is activated, a user with release authorization may always save files directly. This means that no workflow process is triggered when saving, even if the file is defined for the workflow.
If this parameter is activated, notification of actions in the workflow process is sent via task management.
