Click analysis
With Weblication® CMS, you can see at a glance where your visitors have clicked on each page in the click analysis. This allows you to get to know the interests of your visitors and optimize your website.
Operation
For each page for which click analysis is activated, you can display the corresponding clicks on the page if you have the appropriate authorization. This is possible for defined time periods:
'Today's data':
Clicking on this button will show you the clicks within the page you are currently viewing. The clicks of the current day are taken into account as the time period.
'Last week':
By clicking on this button, you will be shown the clicks within the page you are currently viewing. The clicks of the last 7 days, starting from today, are taken into account as the time period.
'Previous week':
Clicking on this button will show you the clicks within the page you are currently viewing. The clicks of the previous week are taken into account as the time period, i.e. starting from today, 7 days back and from this point 7 days into the past.
'Last month':
Clicking on this button will show you the clicks within the page you are currently viewing. The clicks from the previous month are taken into account as the time period.
'Last year':
By clicking on this button, you will be shown the clicks within the page you are currently viewing. The clicks of the past year are taken into account as the time period.
'Delete click analysis data':
By clicking on this button, you can completely delete the click analysis data after prior consultation.
Please note that the click analysis cannot map everything that is possible in HTML/CSS/JS. With Responsive Web Design (RWD), among other things, the shifting of elements does not guarantee that the click analysis provides reliable data. For this reason, click analysis is no longer activated by default in current projects, as the informative value is no longer very high or is partially distorted.
