You can search and test the current search index via the indexing mask in the "Test search" tab.
'Search':
Click on this button to start the search with the entered search term.
'Search term':
In this field, enter the search term for which you want to search the search index.
If wildcards are used, an * (asterisk) is added to the end of the search term. This indicates that the search was carried out using wildcards.
'Wildcards':
If this parameter is activated, all terms that begin with the term entered in the Search term field are found. If wildcards are used, an * (asterisk) is added to the end of the search term.
The search for "master" therefore also finds "mastertemplates", "mastermind", etc.
'Result list':
The result of the search is displayed in this field and the number of hits is shown. The search results list shows 5 results per page and allows you to scroll within the results list below the list if the number of hits is correspondingly high.
A hit is displayed with the title, the excerpt from the text area found and the link to the page. The relative internal weighting of the hit is displayed on the right-hand side.
