Installation wSync

The latest version of the wSync package is required to install the Weblication^® export module (wSync). You can obtain the archive for this from Support on request.

Extract the wSync archive within the following directory, which may need to be created manually:

/weblication/grid5/appsExtern/wSync

Note that the path name is case-sensitive!
You may need to adjust the rights of the unpacked files and directories if, for example, you have unpacked as user "root" but the web server is running under a different uid/gid.

Proceed in the same way when updating the wSync installation. For security reasons, we recommend that you first make a backup of the existing wSync directory and then unpack the contents of the wSync_x.x.x.zip archive using the existing installation (overwrite everything). Existing Sync configurations will not be overwritten.

After logging in as a Weblication^® administrator user, you can call up the overview of the sync projects via the following path:
