Full text search - Authorizations

In the authorization mask of a search configuration, you can give maintenance users the authorization to carry out a search indexing and to administer the search settings.

Operation

You can use the authorization screen to define users (administrators, maintenance users) and groups who can access the search settings or search indexing via the role assigned to them.

The role selection offers two roles to choose from:

Administration
The administrator symbol allows access to search indexing, which the user can use to start search indexing and view the status, for example(full text search - indexing).
Settings
The settings icon allows access to the search settings.
