Weblic®: Teaser, Banner, Slider

The editor can use this structural element to present pages and slides as teasers or banners. In addition to an image, a banner can also contain a title and a short text. Optionally, each entry can be linked to any page. Various ready-made layouts are available for the presentation, which can be individually adapted. In addition to the layout, the editor can also choose how quickly to change, which fade effect to use and much more.

In BASE, the Weblic® Teaser, Banner Slider is already included in the standard delivery and can be inserted at the desired position on a page using the structure editor.

Operation

After inserting the structure element of a banner element, a convenient screen for the list options is available. You call up the list options via the configuration element symbol Icon.

Depending on the settings of the banner element, the CSS-only properties of a Weblic® variant and the project configuration, you will receive the attributes released for maintenance in the list editing of the banner. The attributes set by default are described in the article on list editing.

You can already see the wide range of possible uses for Banner-Weblics® from the CSS-only variants available as standard. These variants can be adapted and extended as required using CSS or any new variants can be created.

Below you will find a few examples, all of which were created on the basis of the same images, but with different CSS-only variants.

By the way: You can generate banners on the basis of PHP files (slides) or on the basis of images. To do this, select either a slides directory (see e.g. BASE) or an image directory as the directory to be listed.
For an optimal display of the banner element, the banner images used should have the same resolution (width and height) if possible!
