Content templates - Directories

Via the Weblication® panel "Current page / Content", you can call up the "Directories" tab under "Content templates" in order to manage and edit the templates for new directories to be created. Depending on the settings, these directory templates are made available within a project when new directories are created.

Tip:
You can also display which templates are used within a directory via the directory information.

Click on the "Content templates" button to open the directory of file templates in a new window.

In the window, the content templates are divided into two tabs:

  • Pages / Objects
  • Directories

Operation

The description of the templates for directories can be found under Content templates - Directories. The "Pages / Objects" tab is described below.

Directories

All directories of the content project are listed in the window. If directory templates are available, these are listed for the corresponding directory with a folder icon and title.
If a directory has its own directory templates, these are directly visible and can be opened for editing by clicking on the respective template (icon with template description).

The buttons visible on the screen are described in more detail below.

'Manage templates':

Clicking on this button opens the template directory for the respective directory for new directories to be created. Here you can edit the directory templates that have already been created and also create new directory (templates).

'Manage linked templates (/path-to-corresponding-directory)':

Clicking on this button opens the inherited template directory for the respective directory for new directories to be created. Here you can edit the directory templates that have already been created and also create new directory (templates).
