Browse & Edit - Assign navigation-dependent content

As a logged-in user, you can use various functions directly in the page view in the browser, depending on the implementation of the project. The function can be activated via the project configuration under "Show buttons for navigation-dependent content". If the "Include navigation-dependent content" element is used via the portal content, the buttons appear for maintenance users with the appropriate authorization (edit right for navigation).

Operation

The button accessible via the side view is described in more detail below.

'Assign navigation-dependent content':

Clicking on the Icon button opens the navigation editing in a special edit mask. This allows you to assign content to a navigation point that appears when the page is called up (e.g. area-dependent content on the right).
The button only appears if the currently logged-in user has the right to edit the corresponding navigation!

'Tip':

If pages are not linked in the navigation, they can be taken into account by assigning the corresponding active navigation point via the standard file settings of the directory for the navigation-dependent content. The prerequisite for this is that a file in this directory must have the selection set to "Automatically select navigation point" in the metadata for the "Active navigation point".
