CSV import - Create pages / objects

Existing data from a database or an Office spreadsheet (e.g. Excel) can be conveniently created as pages / objects using a CSV import function.

It was already possible to import data manually (see DEV article at the end of the article) and is now much easier from version 15 onwards using masks in the directory settings.

To use the CSV import of data, proceed as follows.

• Create a CSV file
  Examples can be found in the DEV article "Creating files via CSV import"

Then set the following for the relevant directory via the directory settings (CSV import):

• File template as the basis for the pages / objects to be created
• Definition of the template for the CSV import

A"Import CSV" button is then displayed in the corresponding directory, which can be used to initiate the process.
