File properties (options)

Various properties can be defined for a file, such as the publication status, viewing rights, templates used, etc.

Click on the"Properties" button to open the Properties tab for the corresponding file.

Within the "Properties" tab, you can access the following options for a file, depending on the licensing:

• Publication
  Defines the online status and publication period of a file
  This setting is not found under the 'Properties' tab, but directly in the status tab above the online status icon (see top left-hand corner of the screen).
  
• Rights
  Defines the rights of a file based on role assignment to users and groups
  
• Personalization
  Defines the viewing rights to a file
  
• Template information
  Defines the information and settings for a file template
  The tab only appears for files that are stored in the template directory!
• Cache
  Defines the use of a cache function for the file
  
• Archiving
  Defines the archiving settings of the file
• Workflow
  Defines the workflow (release process) of a file
  
• Templates
  Defines the editing and view templates and the master template used for a file
