Object display

The central XSL stylesheets for objects can be viewed and edited in the layout/design area under"Object display".

Weblication^® content pages use various XSL stylesheets, e.g. to make uniform data structures editable and output via the corresponding object template. This can be used, for example, for news, events, trade fairs, products, etc.

Click on the"Object display" button to open the object file directory in a new tab on the right-hand side.

All XSL stylesheets for objects in a project are stored in the objects directory. You can open, display, copy, etc. these for editing using the usual file functions.

By editing an XSLT template , you can define the corresponding templates, which contain the transformation instructions and the resulting XHTML code. This is done directly in the source code, which will not be discussed further here. The general rules for XSL apply (see e.g. SELFHTML article "XML / Representation of XML data").
