In the file properties for the template information, you define the information and settings for a file template. The template information screen only appears for files that are stored in the template directory (.../weblication/templates/documents).
When creating new files, the template information is used to indicate the purpose for which a file template is intended.
Enter the title (heading) of the file template in this field (e.g.: Contents page).
'Icon':
In this field, you can optionally select the image to be used as the icon for the file template using the selection arrow .
When using your own icons, we recommend that you use the images supplied with BASE in the template-icons directory as a guide (size, etc.).
In this field you can optionally enter a description for the file template.
In this field, you can optionally use the selection arrow to select an image that should be set as the default preview image for newly created pages based on this template.
'Switch online when editing':
If this parameter is activated, a file template that is set offline is already set online in the draft view. An editor therefore no longer has to set the page online separately after creating a page, but only needs to save it.
This option is effective both for pages that are to be published immediately and for pages that are only published after approval via a workflow.
