Operation

You can edit the abbreviations in the 'Draft' tab. An edit mask is supplied as standard with the example project, which can also be customized.

The editing and definition of abbreviations is explained below using the"Abbreviations to be described automatically" screen of the BASE project as an example.

Various abbreviations are already given as examples in the BASE project and are displayed via a corresponding editing mask in the 'Draft' tab. A word (e.g. RQM) is displayed for each abbreviation, followed by the description of the abbreviation (e.g. Room Quantum Motor).

You can use the WSL function addAcronyms to automatically add the specified description (mouseover (abbr or acronym)) to the terms in the text file (abbreviation) for a text field. This is implemented, for example, in the BASE project in the XSL structure element text.wysiwyg.wItem.php.
